Alright, folks. Coming to you from the rebel base on Hoth, this is The Grind with an exciting new strain review. Today we have our final “hint” strain (don’t forget to leave your guesses for our ‘couple costume’ in the comments!!), Skywalker OG by Billows of Haze.

Billows of Haze is a tier 2 producer/processor headquartered right here in Spokane, on the north-east side of the city. They focus mainly on bud and THC-infused products. I picked up a gram of Skywalker OG at The Hidden Joint.

Just The Basic Facts:

Strain: Skywalker OG

THC/CBD: 32.2% total THC/ 0.3% total CBD

Type: Flower

Method: Smoked (glass)

Skywalker OG is a citrusy, sativa-hybrid with extremely pale coloring of greenish-yellow leaf and delicate orange hairs. It is also coated in a thick layer of crystal and keif (as you can see in the pic, it is gorgeous). The nugs were a medium density but a bit squished in the bag.

This strain has a very sweet, lemon scent (due to a terpene called Linalool, check back later this week for our first weed-ucational post ever all about terpenes!!!) with a touch of that earthy flavor on the exhale. This weed was very smooth in and out with little to no chest irritation.

With a mellow set-in and a long-lasting, calming high I would definitely recommend this for first timers and old timers. As a sativa it is also great for those needing a before work smoke that won’t completely fog out your mind. This one is good for shooting womp rats or taking down an evil, galactic empire.
