The Grind: Sour Tangie by Skord

The Grind: Sour Tangie by Skord

Alright, folks. Welcome to The Grind, review central for The 420 Minute. Look for future strain reviews to get the skinny on popular strains in Spokane.

Let’s jump right in.

The first producer we’re looking at is Skord (umlaut on the ‘o’). Based in Battle Ground, WA with a passion for edibles, Skord built “a plant specific for the industry we’re going into, whereas a lot of people usually retrofit an existing building” says co-founder Michelle Andersen.

Meaning ‘harvest’ in Swedish, Skord produces bud, processes it into oil and concentrate, and crafts edibles in a state-of-the-art facility.

Just the basic facts...

  • Strain: Sour Tangie
  • THC/CBD: 21.75% total THC/ 0% CBD
  • Type: Flower
  • Method: Smoked (glass)

This bud has light green leaf with golden-red hairs generously interspersed and is absolutely coated in gorgeous crystals.

The jar I purchased Friday at Satori South had a harvest date of March 24, 2017, (yeah, today is the first of October, and y’all know I am not hanging on to weed for 6 months!). The bud was dense and not too dry, considering the harvest date. A pleasant, pine taste and a smooth, easy smoke, this delightful sativa gave me an uplifting, energetic high.

I highly recommend this strain, especially if you have projects around the house or just a bit of cleaning up to do. Great for wake-n-bake or a pick-me-up after work.
Check out Skord on Instagram @skordmarijuana and purchase Skord products in Spokane at both Satori locations.

Keep calm and smoke on.
