Alright, folks. Coming to you from the kingdom of the crystal nug, this is The Grind, ℅ the 420 Minute. Today we are looking at Wedding Cake, another epic strain from the amazing minds behind Exotikz and Jungle Boys.

Seems like the legal weed community here on the west coast is operating in similar fashion to the old ‘tape trading’ of the early thrash metal scene. Based in California, both Exotikz and Jungle Boys announced in August a partnership with Reef Dispensaries in Nevada, and apparently a similar deal might be starting up here in Washington state.

Whatever the reason, I’m grateful to bring you folks out there in the #cannabisculture a fresh review of this mind-blowing strain.

Just The Basic Facts:
Strain: Wedding Cake
THC/CBD: 23.84% total THC/ 0.11% total CBD
Type: Flower
Method: Smoked (glass)

On Thursday October 5th at 4:20P.M., Exotikz strains dropped at Spokane’s South Hill Satori location. As I was planning to pick up some bud anyway, I decided to treat myself to something exotic.

The nugs were firm and densely packed without being overdry. On first inspection I noticed the subdued, pastel tones in this bud’s coloring. Frosted in tangerine hairs and fine crystals, and infused with deep purple foliage, Wedding Cake is truly glorious to behold. One of those nugs it’s almost a shame to burn (almost!).

A combination of scents and flavors create an unforgettable blend with spicy notes on the inhale and a citrusy aftertaste often compared to Lemon Meringue. A super smooth smoke with a calming, happy high that gave me bursts of focus and productivity. I found it extremely useful during the morning and it kept me going through the early afternoon.
