The Grind: Dutch Treat by Kouchlock Productions

The Grind: Dutch Treat by Kouchlock Productions

Alright, folks. This is The Grind, transmitting from a soggy hilltop somewhere in Spokane, bringing you another amazing strain to shake the cold November rain from your bones.

Today we’re looking at Dutch Treat by Kouchlock Productions. As some of you may know, Kouchlock was awarded the very first recreational producer license in Washington under I-502. They are located in Spokane County although it is difficult to ascertain from information online where exactly (Colbert or Spokane).

I was unable to find a website, however, Kouchlock used to be associated in some fashion with Pacific Northwest Medical Supply according to information online. And much to my chagrin, they don’t appear to have an Instagram account but you can find them on Fakebook. (No I will not link to their page, figure it out on your own because facebook is fucking evil.)

Now, somewhere beyond my personal philosophy on social media, there lies a strain review.

Just The Basic Facts
Strain: Dutch Treat
THC/CBD: 17.25% total THC/ 0.36% total CBD

Harvested and packed in mid-July, these nugs were dry but dense (I would recommend a grinder with a kief catch if you want to roll a blunt or joint), and trimmed fairly close. The leaf was vibrant green with a few hairs of a dull, brownish-red color. But, as you can see above, it was all caked in kief and crystals.

This popular sativa hybrid had a very potent aroma, with dominating scents of citrus and pine. It was a bit harsh, even on the bong, but that has never stopped me before and it shouldn’t deter you now.

With a small amount of CBD this heady strain eases minor aches and pains fast, but it can be a heady high so beware if you have a low tolerance or smoke before work. That being said, this is a great go-to strain for those who smoke every day or medicinally for mental health reasons. This one will get your head and body right.

Available at several retailers in Spokane, I picked up an eighth at Satori South for $25. For awesome deals all week long, head to @satori.southhill and celebrate their one year anniversary!
