The Grind: Top Brands On A Budget

The Grind: Top Brands On A Budget
By: Sarah Mulcahy

Alright, folks. I’ve done all the heavy lifting, put in the time, made my list and checked it twice. You’re all naughty. Oh, wait... sorry, wrong list. Ahem. Let me shuffle these papers around for a minute. Aha! The List!

I know the struggle is real, my friends. You have $10 in your pocket, three days til payday and the crumbles at the bottom of that nug jug are not gonna get you through. Have no fear, the 420 Minute is here to guide you through the haze and confusion.

Here are the best Washington brands for stoners who want top-shelf quality on a bottom-shelf budget.

  • Northwest’s Finest
This small producer south of Spokane brings consistent quality; $10 a gram/$35 an eighth at Satori South; NW Fire, Gold OG, Jack the Ripper
  • Liberty Reach
Located on Spokane’s north side excellent quality buds every time with every strain; $10 a gram/$35 an eighth at Satori South; Blue Dream, Elmer’s Glue, Golden Tangie
  • Triple Crown Farm
Headquartered on the western side of the state with good quality for the price; $10 a gram/$35 an eighth at Satori South; Boo Berry, Walking Dead, Grim Reefer
  • Phat Panda
Spokane Valley, honorable mention for their Bong Buddies, $20/2 grams (a.k.a. a dub, the formerly preferred weight of struggling Spokane stoners) and only $10 for those beautiful firecrackers (oil-painted pre-rolls dipped in kief, son!!!!); Golden Pineapple, OG Chem, Satori Pineapple

There are many farms in our great state of Washington, each with a variety of strains and products, so this is far from a comprehensive list. Farms like The High Road and Blue Roots also deserve honorable mention for $12 grams and consistent, quality buds.
