Alright, folks. This is The Grind, reaching across time and space to bring you another killer strain review, courtesy of The 420 Minute.

This is our second strain review from November’s Producer of the Month, Triple Crown. These guys are located in Grays Harbor County, on the west side of Washington. They have a unique, hands-on process and take a lot of pride in what they do. One grower from Triple Crown commented, “I have dedicated my life to growing cannabis and went to college to get my degree in ornamental horticulture”.

“Hello Sarah I saw your review and apologize for that dearly. We did a bit of breeding work and a very very small amount of the deadhead was released when it was only for breeding purposes.”

This heartfelt response was one of the deciding factors in choosing Triple Crown as our #potm for November. Now, let’s get to it.

The nugs were fluffy and slightly sticky to the touch (which I love!!!), with a dull green leaf interspersed with bits of darker green. Deep orange hairs coated these luscious buds and upon opening the jar I was enveloped in a spicy aroma.

This heavy indica strain was woody on the exhale and very smooth. The body high set in rapidly leaving me relaxed. Within fifteen minutes I had relief from aches in my back, neck and feet. By the half hour mark the “head” high kicked in and I was ready for bed!

With no grogginess or hangover the next morning, I would definitely recommend this strain for anyone with difficulty sleeping. This is perfect for a pre-bed bowl. With a relaxing and soothing high, the day’s troubles will melt away and you will sleep like the dead.
