Alright, folks. It’s time for The Grind, bringing you sweet reflections of summer to warm you up on a cold night in the PNW.

We’ve got another strain from MJ Productions, headquartered in Spokane Valley and providing hand-trimmed products made with love. Just The Basic Facts

Strain: Strawberry Diesel

THC/CBD: 27.14% total THC/ 0% total CBD

Considering this batch had a harvest date close to the Swedish Phish it isn’t surprising the the nugs were somewhat brittle. They were also quite dense and keify. The leaf was pale green encased in bright orange hairs.

The strawberry aroma coming from the bag was overwhelmingly potent, however, the hints of strawberry taste were overpowered by that distinct spicy and bold flavor of Sour Diesel (bred with Strawberry Cough to create this lovely hybrid!). This one was a bit harsh on my upper chest and throat on the exhale, but as we used to say back in the day: cough to get off, children.

Strawberry Diesel hits you hard and fast. I would recommend taking it easy with this one for those that don’t smoke very often or those new to marijuana. There was a definite easing of stress and anxiety, and even with my level of tolerance it didn’t take much.
